Your Universal Credit exemption must have been valid when you claimed a free prescription or dental treatment.
You would have been entitled to free prescriptions and dental treatment if your earnings during your last assessment were:
'Most recent assessment period' means the assessment period that ended immediately before the date you claimed free NHS prescriptions or dental treatment. It runs for a calendar month.
If you claim Universal Credit as a couple, the earnings limit applies to the joint income of you and your partner.
You will need your reference number. This can be found in the top left-hand corner of your letter.
To confirm your identity we will ask for details from your letter.
